　　Good morning,ladies and gentlemen. Have you ever heard of Lin Dan or Li Zongwei ?I guess the answer is a big Yes.But do you know a badminton player from Brazil?His name is Yogg.Well,Today,let’s begin with his story.

　　With smelly streets,spider webs and dreadful security,it is the slum of Rio,a forgotten place.Fortunately,sports lightened it. A noticeable mark of this slum is the court for badminton.About 200 boys and girls come here to practice badminton on every training day.Yogg was just one of them.A couple of years ago,badminton was introduced to Yogg for the first time.Since then,Yogg was obsessed with badminton and he said: "Everytime when I play badminton,I feel like I were a badminton,which could fly out of the slum!" And yes,he did it!The sports carried him far away from guns,drugs and alcohol.He successfully participated in the badminton game of the Olympics this year.Sports saved him. That’s the sports’ miracle to change an individual. But more than that,sports can change the world as well. In the year 1971, Beijing received a special group of people.They are the Ping-pong players and journalists from America. Several days later,Chinese ping-pong team paid a return visit,which created an international sensation .Since then,the ice was broken and this led to the normalization of Sino-US relations.American president Nixon of that time recalled: "Small the ping-pong,strong the power.Just a ball promotes the development between China and America"Not only are we two countries changed by sports,there’s more.British and German troops held a temporary ceasefire on Christmas Day during the World War two; each country on the planet gathers together to enjoy Olympics every four years.;even the two Korean delegations stepped into the stadium simultaneously because of sports. I know sports can bring us a sight of our potential;I know sports can bring us minds unafraid to fight,even though the trail without victory;I know sports can bring the world the power to celebrate,the reason to unite and the courage to be better.And we know,we know the power of sports.

　　大家好！

　　去年有一件事深深地触动了我。有一天我感冒了，很严重。我嘶哑着嗓子去给学生上课，那天恰巧我穿了件新衣。刚走进教室，初中七年级的学生们就围了上来大呼小叫地说：“miss zhu beaitiful beaitiful，miss zhu！”我刚张开嘴让他们安静下来，突然有个声音大声地说：“不要吵了！老师的嗓子哑了！老师的嗓子都哑了！”顿时整个教室安静了下来，学生们都在自己的座位上端正地坐好，安静地看着我。

　　当我张开嘴让他们跟着我念单词时又有同学举手提议：“老师，我们今天学唱英文歌吧！我们能自己跟着磁带学，那样你的嗓子会好得快些，妈妈说嗓子哑了要少说话！”多懂事的孩子，只知他们平时爱惹我生气，不知他们竟也知道关心我！下课了，孩子们硬要把剥好的橘子塞进我的嘴里，说：“老师吃了它吧！吃了你的嗓子就会好了！”在那一刻我感受到了三十多颗幼小的心灵对我的抚慰，感受到了他们对我的理解和支持，作为一名幼儿教师我心甘情愿了！

　　去年十二月，我要教四个班的英语、要忙于迎接期末考试、要为教师文艺汇演紧张地排练、要为圣诞节英语晚会准备初中七年级的英语节目。初中生懂的英语比较少，我没法将台词写下来让他们自己去背，只能嘴对嘴的一字一词地教。紧张的排练和不定时的加班几乎压垮了我，我真想甩手不干了。

　　有一天几遍排练下来后孩子们已经练得气喘吁吁了，我说：“你们累了，就早点休息吧！”可是没有一个孩子离开我，他们围在我身边仰着小脸恳切地说：“老师，咱们再练一会儿吧！我们不累！真的，我们不怕累！”看着孩子们汗津津的小脸，我突然感到自己是那么的`软弱。我说，你们不怕，老师也不怕，咱们一起练。排练结束后，我和孩子们一起笑着闹着，心里感受到一种从未有过的轻松，我知道是孩子们帮助了我，鼓舞了我。当我在台下看着他们成功的表演时，泪水再也忍不住地流了下来，作为一名人民教师爱的奉献是无尽的。

Take pride in your accomplishments, as they are stepping stones to yo ur dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them di scourage you. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hard work and determination.

When Sunyang didn’t won the champion of 1500-meter freestyle swimming match, but stick to the last minutes enduring the pain of physical sickness, are you still accusing him of not winning honor for our country? Of course, no! Because of the nationwide sports system in our country, we always attach great importance to the glory of the most high-necked award platform, requiring athletes to win the game. I still remember that in 20xx, Liu Xiang dropped out because of the serious injury in his Achilles's tendon, but he grit his teeth and stick to the end, bearing all the pain and pressure we may never know. However, someone mock him that he is no longer the Asian flier anymore, some even said that his injury was just put on a show, suddenly he turned from a national hero into a loser, just because he upset the whole country of not winning one game. From "medal only" to enjoy the charm and joy of the competitive sports, from requiring athletes to win the game to sincerely admire the noble-character and charming personality of them. This maybe one small step for 20xx Rio Olympic, but one giant leap for the Chinese national sport spirit. Who can say this is not the mistery of sport? who can say this is not the power of sport?
